Riding Program: (Offered February-November)

First Month:

First time members will receive a discount for their first month in the program. The introductory price for your first month is $150 for four lessons in total. Any additional lessons you would like to receive in your first month are an additional $40 per lesson.

Becoming a Riding School Member:

After your first month, monthly lessons are $180 per month upfront for four lessons in total, and any additional lessons during the month are $50 per lesson after your first four lessons.

For the Casual Rider/Off Season Lessons (December/January):

For any riders looking to take lessons intermittently, we offer individually priced lessons at $60 per lesson, or if you are a monthly member wanting to lesson during our “off season” we offer lessons at $50 per lesson. This “pay as you go” offer is best for the casual rider looking for a tune up once and a while, or for the busy individual who cannot commit to the four minimum lessons per month as is required for the riding school program. It is also a GREAT option for the two months of the year when we are all busy with family, holidays, and bunkering down for the frigid unpredictable New Year weather!

Open Rides:

This is ONLY offered to riders in our program who are looking to get more saddle time at a more affordable cost -the price for “open rides” is $25 per ride. We also offer “open rides” in exchange for work around the farm! Independency and self-sufficiency are what creates a stronger, more well-rounded rider! Open rides are scheduled week by week and are limited depending on the workload of schooling horses. Each open ride will be supervised by an adult; however, a rider will be fully independent in the saddle for 20-25 minutes. This allows the rider to gain confidence and practice the skills that they learn during their lessons in an independent manner. Note: riders will be briefed in advance on what is or is not allowed during their open ride.

The Family Plan:

Custom monthly lesson membership plans are available for families who have more than one rider participating in the program. For example: if you and your child both want to take lessons, I will customize a monthly membership plan to fit your needs. For this example: two riders, two lessons per week, and eight lessons in total per month would come out to be a monthly fee of $360 per month. This also allows families to share lessons (i.e. the child may take six of the eight lessons while the parent takes two, or any combination of sharing the eight total lessons). Family plans can accommodate an unlimited combination of riders per month.

Regulations:

If you no longer wish to participate in the riding program, you must give a one month notice of cancellation. Typically, when you are a part of the riding school program, you will receive a weekly lesson day/time slot that you may change as needed. Lesson times vary on availability for both riders and schooling ponies. Lessons are offered during the day/evening all days except Sundays, and Thursday/Friday evenings until May of 2025. If you miss a lesson, you have one month from the date you missed to make up that lesson. Missed lessons cannot be rolled over after the one month make up time frame. Just like any other sport, practice and consistency yields progress! This structure for lessons allows for more consistency for the riders, and more accountability to maintain that consistency.
